What life is like in your own villages, towns, regions and countries?
Students with a low level of English are invited to talk about where they live in general terms (i.e. about location, climate, population, cities and towns, etc.), choosing the level of complexity that best suits them.
Students with a higher level of English may provide further information about the cultural/social/political/economic system: urbanization migration, social indicators, social institutions (education, health, etc.), culture, government and other aspects of population; local industries; agriculture; the physical environment; geology, current environmental issues, etc. and anything else you wish to say further.
You are kindly asked to contribute free comments on this page and do the activities related to this topic that your teacher will tell you to carry out.

Our Country-Latvia.
Our country are almost small, or other country think we are Lihtuania or Estonia, but, we are in the midlle of this two country and name of country-Latvia, and other people think too we are Russian’s to country, but this country only is 3thd neightbor’s country.
We can proud about this country, because on the summer are Song and Dance’s contests-thats are only 4 years need to wait for this perfect and beautiful contest-and this contest are on the very big Estrad of song contest.
And in summer in this country travel lots of people of other country’s, like Germany, UK,… .
Than in summer in our country are very specefic party-”Ligo” and than come “Jani”-in this party we can eat chees lot of, and then we can run a round a fire and sing very funny or beautiful songs.
I want tell every one, this country are very small, but we can proud, because we are inteligent country, but we don’t love those people who made mistakes or make dirty on the streets or put down on the street paper of polietilen bags-of shops or market.
Because in the woul world are begin a”Global Worming”, than I begin this write, because I love nature and animal, and I think people need be more think how we use material of nature.
Thats are of our country and of course my oppinion about this country. But You can tell too about your country some good thinks.

Dear participants,
Hold on, the Swedish team is working hard with this subject.The semester is over at the end of May. I hope we can present some material here about Sweden. My students have started to work with this subject.
