  1. Dear all,
My name is Mikael. I work at Komvux Norrköping. One of the best Swedish books that I know is “The Emigrants” from 1951 by Vilhelm Moberg. It is about a Swedish family migrating to America during the 19 th century. Although it is from -51 its theme is still very much relevant to our modern society. Try to find it at your own library. Reading it is worth while and it will teach you so many things about being a human!

Iam Ionel from Romania, Energetical Technical Highschool and I am glad to be here with you.My favorite novel is On the wings of wind , a novel by Margaret Mitchel. The novel was published in 1933 and it is at the same time a novel about war and a love story, the main characters beeing Scarlet and Rhett. Scarlet is an ambitious woman who wants to have all. The readers love Scarlet because she is very sincere, she has a truelly vigurous way of living and she is young and beautiful. It is also interesting to read about a national historical problem – the secession war.

  10. Dear participants in the Grundtvig project,

This is just a quick note, to tell you all that we are enjoying participating in the project, though we have experienced a reduction in the technical staff at our school and cannot use extensively the laboratories during the lessons of English (we only have 1000 minutes English classes a week).

However, as you can see, we have been catching up with the programme, developing the contents into oral, rather than internet based lessons, and have produced some materials related to the monthly themes.

There will be a guy at our school, called Gianluca, who will be the spokesperson on behalf all the students, to keep in touch via the blog (post/comments). Also teacher Chiara Pasquini will act as a spokesperson together with Gianluca.

We are looking forward to preparing new materials for you to improve our English, enjoy ourselves and gain a better understanding of our countries.
We are presently working on our favourite novel, but we are really looking forward to focusing on the theme “My country/region/town”.

So, keep enjoying participating in the project and hope to meet some of you here.

    The Italian students from Rovereto.

  13. I like very much read book. I began to read from the basic school, but important books such as novels and other items when I was 14 years old. One of my favourite pastimes is read book.
I had read in English before, but the first time I read an entire novel. I haven’t a favourite author, I had many. Men I can mention some: Garcia Marquez, Dostoyevsky, Leon Tolstoy, Isaac Asimov, etc.
Today I finished reading “The Phantom of the Opera”. It was not easy, but an entertaining story, with suspense, terror and love. I like a lot the suspense, that will happen after and I want to continue reading.
The plot is a constant mystery, where terrible things happen. It is difficult to understand the story. The writing is something mysterious. Somewhat complicated, and the characters are complicated, they drift by terror and this forces them to obey the ghost.

  23. My favourite book is “Bible”
becouse this is Gods Word, because it answers my questions about God,becaus it`s the most important book ever.It contains answers to all the world`S problems and it shows us how to be a Cristian. The Bible shows us Gods love to the people:”If you feel excited about God the world he is created and he is the people`salvation.”For GOD loved the world so much that he gave his only Son,so that everyone who belives in him may not die but have eternal life”.(John 3:16)Jesus answered him “I am the way the truth and the life;no one goes to the Father except by me”.”I am the resurrection and the life.”He loves us and by his sacrificial death he has freed us from our sins.Look he is coming on the clouds!Everyone vill see him. “Listen!” says Jesus.”I am coming soon! Happy are those who obey the prophetic words in this book.Come Lord Jesus!
We have already seen that the Bible includes some general universal laws, which are central to both the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Ten Commandaments are the best example.Thesecommands are always relevant, and provide clear guidance for us even today. They are practical rules for living.
The Lord Jesus says “Do not think that.I have come to do away with the Law and the teachings of the prophets. I have not come to do away with them.
