PM in Santo Tirso, Portugal (Oct. ‘08)

 

WELCOME TO THE FIRST PROJECT MEETING

IN SANTO TIRSO, portugal

Held in oCTOBER 2008

PM PROGRAMME:

 

 

 

Educational side:

·        Welcoming activities; getting to know the coordinating teachers of the partnership.

·        Open sessions of discussions about the project.

·        Team work: global analysis of the project: aims, actors, calendar, instruments, evaluation, expected results, PMs planning etc.

·        Team work : analysing the student’s blog: structure, accounts, etc. Training session by Chiara  Pasquini (Italy)

·        Team work : the Moodle platform, creating accounts. Training session by Simona Paris (Italy)

·        Summing up of all the activities, drafting documents and updating the blog and Moodle platform.

 

Social side:

·        Trips to nearby towns and  recreational activities (details will follow).

·        Study visit to Santo Tirso, guided by the municipal authorities,

·        Study visit to Porto, Guimares and Braga.

·        Farewell dinner offered by the municipality of Santo Tirso.

The welcome speech made by the headmistress of the hosting school Maria Odete Barbosa, the local coordinating teacher Ana Maria Costa and Engenheira Ana Maria, the representative of Santo Tirso Municipality in charge of Education Matters.

 

 

 

 

The audience of the welcome speech: in the first rows the local coordinator teachers form the various partnered countries and the Portuguese students and teachers.

Thanks and recognition for the hard and highly effective work done by the coordinating teacher Ana Maria Costa, and the other Portuguese  teachers Albertina Marques, Júlia Branco, Paula Araújo e Abílio Ribeiro. Sincere thanks also to the headmistress Maria Odete Barbosa for her professional and caring presence throughout the Project Meeting.
